Service Specialists, Inc. was founded in October of 1984 by Robert Ollerman (Father) and Scott Ollerman (Eldest Son) with the goal of becoming Southern Wisconsin's leading heating, ventilating, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and ice making equipment service and sales leader.

Three generations of Ollermans have been in the HVAC industry. Robert's father (Scott's grandfather), Herbert, manufactured furnaces in Milwaukee for over 30 years. So, the industry was a natural fit for Robert, who was influential in the growth of Honeywell, Gustave A. Larson and Climatic Control Company - all industry leaders.

In 1987, after graduating from the University Of Wisconsin - Whitewater, Greg Ollerman (Middle Son) brought his sales and management experience to assist in the growth and management of the evolving organization.

In 1988, Robert lost a 9-month battle with lung cancer. The loss of his experience and leadership was a difficult hurdle to overcome, however, the dedicated and professional staff worked with Robert's ideas and work ethic in mind to help Service Specialists to continue to grow into the industry leader that it is today.

Since then, our success can be attributed to two very important factors, doing our very best to take care of our customers. Our Professional Technicians have a combined 300+ years of industry experience and are second to none. Additionally, the many high-quality businesses and people we work with, continue to fuel us to do whatever it takes to support them the best way we know how, to ensure that their businesses run strong and their homes are comfortable at all times.

Spanning almost three decades, Service Specialists continues daily to strive for the original goal of being Southern Wisconsin's leading heating, ventilating, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and ice making equipment service and sales leader.

Our profession may be heating, ventilating, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and ice making equipment service and sales, however, our passion is creating and maintaining relationships with our customers.
